A former laborer at Republic Steel and longtime Volunteer for the Salvation Army, Jack Sowinski passed away at Buffalo General Hospital, in Buffalo, New York, at the age of 72.

He was the beloved son of the late Stella (neeTyczka) and late Theodore Sowinski;

Jack was the devoted brother of Donald (Patricia) Sowinski and the late William (Margaret "Peggy") Sowinski and loving uncle of Peter Sowinski and Nancy Sowinski.

Services were held privately.
