James Dean Haas was born on Tuesday, January 22, 1957 in Buffalo, New York to Lorraine (nee Schroeder) and Ronald Haas.  He was a diesel mechanic for Southside Trailer Service Inc in Blasdell, New York.

Jim was the beloved husband of Mary (nee Gibson) Haas.

Devoted father of Sean (Caitlyn) Haas and Jason Haas. Loving grandfather of Aiden Haas, Addison Haas, and Audrey Haas.

Dearest brother of Leonard (Cara) Haas and brother-in-law of Raymond (Maryellen) Gibson, Mark (Pam) Gibson, James (Eunice) Gibson, and Debbie Gibson.

Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive him.

The family will be present on Friday, September 29th, 2023, from 4-7 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William Street, near Harlem Road where a funeral service will follow visitation at 7 PM.

Burial will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, 146 Reserve Rd. West Seneca, New York on Saturday morning at 10 AM.
