Obituary

Age 75, of Williamsville, NY, formerly of Lancaster, NY. Jim worked for NYS Department of Transportation for 36 years and served as the Regional Permit Engineer.

Son of the late Catherine Rzadkiewicz and late Frank Jarnot.

Beloved husband of 50 years to Joan C. (nee Grabiec), and was the devoted father of Kevin (Heather) of Scituate, MA and James M. (Danielle) of New York City and devoted Papa of Thomas, Peter and Isabelle Jarnot, Margaret Thomas, Martin Jarnot and Canine Friend Charlie.

Brother of Frank (late Dolores) Jarnot of Florida, late Raymond (Victoria) Jarnot of Elma, and late Richard (late Victoria) Jarnot.

Loving uncle of Patricia (Steven) Szymendera and family and Raymond (Beverly) Jarnot and family; dear cousin of Sister Mary Johnice Rzadkiewicz CSSF; also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family will be present on Friday from 3-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem).

Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at Shrine of the Sacred Heart (5337 Genesee St. Bowmansville, NY) on Saturday at 9:30 AM .

Jim served in the US Air Force and was a member of the Clarence Seniors, the Stonegate Pinocle, Euchre, and Wii Bowling groups, Thursday morning NYSDOT Breakfast Club, PEF Retirees and RPEA and was also a life member of the SS Peter and Paul Athletic Club.

Burial will take place at St. Adalbert's Cemetery, Lancaster, NY, at a later date.
