IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James J.
Lach
March 1, 1949 – June 11, 2021
A retired Account Manager with over 30 years of service for the US Postal Service, James J. Lach, passed away at the age of 72. He was also a member of the Father Justin Council #5670 of the Knights of Columbus.
Jim was a gentleman and had a friendly personality, spoke what was on his mind, was not afraid to express himself, and always took pleasure in a good conversation. He also enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas or locally to a nearby Casino.
At one time Jim owned and would race his horses on the harness circuit at the Erie County Fairgrounds and Batavia Downs. He also collected CDs, DVDs, and enjoyed watching ESPN, Baseball, and the Buffalo Bills. Most days you could find him enjoying his Chicken Soup, (which he would have every day if he could) and the Polish cuisine at the dinner hour, at his favorite stop Pott's Deli.
Jim was the devoted son of the late Florianne (nee Juszkiewicz) and the late Edward A. Lach and he was also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church (2158 Clinton Street) Thursday (6/17/2021) at 9:30 AM.
Face coverings and social distancing will be required during Jim's services. Thank you for your understanding.
Please share a picture in our online Photo Album or a favorite memory in our Guest Book here on Jim's Tribute page.
