James T.
Noga
January 20, 1943 – July 27, 2022
A Honky Style Polka Drummer, singing and entertaining since the age of 14, James T. Noga, passed away at Mercy Hospital, in Buffalo, New York, at the age of 79.
Jim played with Jersey Polka Richie, Wanda and Stephanie, Walt Jaworski, and several others throughout the years. He was also very active at his St. Andrew's Parish, running the Tuesday Bingo Kitchen and serving as the cook, as well as assisting all of the church community wherever he was needed. He also enjoyed fishing with his family and voyaging to Aruba with family and friends.
Jim was also a remodeling specialist, working with Quality Home Improvements for several years.
Married for over 58 years to his best friend and the love of his life he was the beloved "Sweet Da" of Patricia (nee Pitcher) Noga.
He was the World's Best Father to Denise (Andy) Ackerman and Tina (Steve) Jendrysiak and father-in-law of Scott Ackerman.
Jim was the proud Papa of Scott James Ackerman.
A dearest brother of Edward (Emily Krzykowski and late Sue) Noga, late George (late Carolyn) Noga, late Marie (late Frank) Franklin and late Esther Frys and brother-in-law of the late Paul (Barbara) Pitcher and late Nonie (late Frank) Kipler.
The best friend of Angel and Christa Vangelov and Bill Schmid and cherished uncle of several nieces and nephews and also loved by a host of his grand-furbabies.
Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Polka Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew's Church (Crocker and Reiman Sts. in Sloan, New York 14212) on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 10 AM.
In Jim's honor, please proudly wear your Red & White, if you will be attending.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in Jimmy's memory are preferred to St. Andrew's Church, 34 Francis Avenue, Sloan, New York 14212.
