Jan passed away peacefully at the age of 83 with his family by his side. He was retired from Ford Motor Co. in Woodlawn, NY.
A beloved husband of the late Regina (nee Prudzienica) Szulc and devoted father of Kathryn (Ed) Doruszewski, Peter (Eileen) Szulc and Jean (Daryl) Filipiak.
Loving grandfather of Kaitlin (Ed) Grzybowski, Caroline Szulc, Rebecca Doruszewski, Kristen Doruszewski, Anna Filipiak and a proud great-grandfather of Aiden and Lucas.
Dear brother-in-law of Josephine (late Ed) Ricotta, Lora (Matthew) Pluta, Helen (Zygmunt) Piadlo and Joe (Lucille) Prudden. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family will be present Today , Sunday, June 30th, 2019 from 4 to 8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William Street (near Harlem).
Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, located at 158 Laverack Avenue, Lancaster, New York 14086, on Monday, July 1st, at 9:30 AM.
Inurnment will take place at St. Adalbert Cemetery, in Lancaster, New York, at a later date.
The family wishes to express their sincere thanks for the Care and Love that Kit, Aunt Kathy, Courtney, Christine, Gabby, Donna, Lydia, Dawn, Comfort Keepers, and the Hospice team has shown to Jan and our family and prefer that memorials be made to Hospice Buffalo, Inc., 225 Como Park Blvd, Cheektowaga, New York 14227.
