At the age of 82, Jan was a former Line Assembler at Ford Motors in Woodlawn, NY.

A loving son of the late Teresa Szwed and late Jan Padiasek.

Beloved husband of Alfreda (nee Kita) Szwed.

Devoted father of Anna (Daniel) Pollina and Mark Szwed.

Loving grandfather of Daniel Janek David Pollina.

Jan is also survived by family in Poland and Germany and by many friends.

The family will be present Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where services will be held Monday at 10 AM and at St. Josaphat Parish 10:30 AM.
