Passed away peacefully at St. John the Baptist Hospice at the age of 87.

The son of the late Florian and Maria (Golembiowska) Wisniewski and beloved husband of Irmgard (nee Hallauer) Wisniewski.

Jan was the devoted father of Irys (Glen) Burn, Annette (Mark) Della Posta, and Christine (Mark) Orzechowski and loving grandfather of Jason, Allison, Greg, Kristen, Matthew and Katherine.

The family will be present on Sunday from 4-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem).

Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at St.Stanislaus Church (123 Townsend St.) on Monday at 10 AM.

Interment in St. Stanislaus Cemetery will follow.

Jan was a member of the Polish Army Veterans' Assocation (SWAP) Post 1.
