Obituary

A retired Administrative Clerk for Verizon, in Buffalo, New York, the former Jane Waszak, passed away at Buffalo General Hospital, in Buffalo, New York, at the age of 77.

The devoted daughter of the late Sophie (nee Wiatrowski) and the late Walter J. Waszak, Jane D. Damian, was the beloved wife of the late Gregory L. Damian, who predeceased her on June 26, 1995.

A loving mother of Jennifer (Jon) Severt and fond grandmother of Christopher Knavel and Cory Knavel.

Jane was also the cherished sister of Ronald (Antionette) Waszak, Richard Waszak, Doris (Edward) Ciemcioch and sister-in-law of Waunita Waszak and Patricia (Ronald) Heerdt, as well as the fond godmother and aunt of Steven (Jill) Ciemcioch and Jessica (Jake) Lapan.

She was also survived by several other loving godchildren, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Gualbert Church, located at Gualbert Ave. & Doat St., in Cheektowaga, New York, 14215, on Saturday at 11 AM.

Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, in Cheektowaga, New York.

Donations are preferred to St. Jude Children's Hospital (262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105)
