The former Janet V. Grubka, daughter of the late Verna (Osowski) and late John Grubka and retired Insurance Agent at LaPenna Insurance, of Cheektowaga, NY, passed away at Hospice Buffalo, in Cheektowaga, at the age of 75. She was the beloved wife of the late Philip Aguglia, who predeceased her in 1976.

Janet was the devoted mother of Mary (Michael) Bartlett, Ann (Nick) Surdi, Phil (Ann) Aguglia, Beverly Aguglia, Dennis (Pattie) Aguglia and Michael (Debbie) Aguglia.

She was the loving grandmother of Jeremy Bartlett, Shannon (Chad) Boyanich, Jeffery and Tyler Shandraw, Jason and Philip (Cindy) Aguglia, Dena Wesley, Heather (Joe) Lelito, Michelle, Kristi, Dennis Jr. and Nick (Tegan) Aguglia, Jenna (Jay) Calabrese and the late Philip Aguglia, Jr. and great-grandmother of 21.

The dearest sister of Pat (Tony) Lorenzo and John (Marjorie) Grubka and also survived by several nices and nephews.

Family will be present on Friday from 4 PM to 7 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem).

Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at Resurrection Church (130 Como Park Blvd. off Union) on Saturday morning at 9 AM.

Inurnment will take place at a later time, at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cheektowaga, NY.
