Jeannette Sawicki, also known as "Jeannette Jay" to many, was the Owner of Jeannette Jay's Gold Carpet Interviews, in Pittsburg, PA,  passed away at Erie County Medical Center, in Buffalo, New York, at the age of 70.

The loving daughter of the late Jean (nee Kania) and the late Peter Sawicki and devoted sister of Sister Mary Christelle Sawicki CSSF and Mary Ann (late Michael Daniel) Bodkin.

She was the fond aunt of Mary Ann Galla, Bonnie Jean Smith and Theresa Lee Jahmi.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather for a Celebration of Jeanette's life at Resurrection Life Church, 2145 Old Union Rd., in Cheektowaga, New York 14227 on, Saturday, June 18 at 10 AM where a memorial service will follow at 11 AM. A Mass has also been scheduled by the Felician Sisters at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Convent Chapel, 600 Doat St., Buffalo, New York 14211 on, Sunday, July 17 at 10 AM.
