The former Joan T. Hodur, a 9-month resident of Absolut Care of Orchard Park, passed away suddenly, at Buffalo Mercy Hospital Emergency Room at the age of 81. Joan was also a retired Banquet Server, at the Heartstone Manor Banquet Facility, in Depew, New York and former parishioner at St. Josaphat Parish, in Cheektowaga, New York.

She was the beloved wife of late Stanley N. Olszewski, Jr. who predeceased her, on August 9th, 2005.

The devoted mother of Thomas Olszewski, Daniel Olszewski, Kenneth Olszewski and the late Michael Olszewski and the dearest sister of late Norman (Elaine) Hodur. Joan was also survived by 3 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather for a Celebration of Joan's Life at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William (near Harlem) on Sunday, March 25, 2018, from 3 - 6 PM where a funeral service will take place at 5:30 PM.

Inurnment will take place privately at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, in Cheektowaga, New York, at a later date.
