At the age of 98, beloved daughter of the late Anna (nee Cer) and Paul Groff.

Johanna was the beloved wife of the late Stephen J. Kovac. A devoted mother of Theresa (Thomas) Karlinski and the late Stephen P. Kovac, Jr.  Dearest grandmother of Christina (Michael) Rainville and Jennifer Pearce.  Loving great-grandmother of Edward Thomas Pearce.  Sister of the late Paul Groff, Joseph Groff, Mary Beaudoin and Anna Proctor. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Family will be present Saturday from 6-8 and Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem Rd). Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Help of Christians Church Chapel (Union at Genesee) Monday at 11:30 AM. Please assemble at the Chapel.

Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Lackawanna, New York.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Our Lady Help of Christians Chapel Preservation Fund.
