At the age of 65, John was a retiree from the City of Buffalo where he worked in the Department of Public Works.

Beloved son of late Lorraine (nee Ziolkowski) and Edmund Chmielewski.

Devoted brother of Deborah Chmielewski and Sandra (Kenneth) Radecki.

Loving uncle of Todd Borkowski, Stacy Radecki and late Renae (late Mark) Miller.

Fond great-uncle of Marcus Miller, Jayden Esquilin, Carter Nelson and Adeline Nelson.

Services were held privately.
