Imbirowicz, Sr.
July 15, 1919 – January 31, 2016
A retired Mechanic for the Buffalo Police Department, John J. Imbirowicz, Sr., passed away peacefully, at Harris Hill Nursing Facility, in Williamsville, NY, at the age of 96. He was a longtime member of the NRA and the Bison City Rod and Gun Club.
He was predeceased by his wife the late Pearl (nee Rys) Imbirowicz.
John was the dearest father of James (Patricia) Imbirowicz, Cynthia (Stanley A.) Kicinski and John "Jack" (Victor Clingenpeel) Imbirowicz.
The loving grandfather of Corey (Frank) Hoffman, Elizabeth (Michael) D'Angelo, Christopher (Laura) Kicinski, Benjamin (Genevieve) Kicinski and Alison (Rob) Mazur and fond great grandfather of Carter, Owen, Hudson, Sawyer, Grey, Lorraine, Fiona, Claire, Parker and Foster.
He was the dear brother of the late Rose Imbirowicz, late Edward Imbirowicz, late Joseph Imbirowicz, late Alfred (late Eugenia) Imbirowicz and late Stella Imbirowicz.
Family will be present on Wednesday morning from 9 to 9:45 AM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where services will be held Wednesday at 9:45 AM and at St. Clare Parish (193 Elk St.) at 10:30 AM.
Interment will follow at St. Matthew's Cemetery, West Seneca, NY.
