Obituary

A Navy veteran of WWII, he served proudly from 1942 till 1945. Upon his return from the Navy , he served again, until his retirement as a Letter Carrier, for the U.S. Post Office.

An avid traveler, he lead many Football, Hockey and Baseball excursions and several special location trips to Poland and Hawaii, to name a few, on Bus, Boat and Plane. He also enjoyed Bowling and was instrumental in saving the "Royal Lanes" Bowling Alley, by purchasing it with some friends and with a lot of sweat equity, turning it around, to make it a neighborhood fun center for many years, untill a fire destroyed the building.

He was the beloved husband of the late Delphine "Be" (nee Niewzal) and devoted father of Susan (late Donald) Scheller and Colleen (Robin) Connolly.

The loving grandfather of Sean, Taryn and Mitchell Connolly and dearest brother of Geraldine (late Ben) Schutta, Eleanor (late Alfred) Koska, Loretta (late Lucien) Benczkowski and the late Edward (late Genevieve) Przybylak, late Florence (late Louis) Zybczynski, late Alfrieda (late Peter) Conwall, late Robert, Sr. (late Rose) Przybylak and late Mary Ann (late Ted) Pawlowski.
