A retired Sewer Maintenance Supervisor, with the Erie County Sewer Authority, John G. Kulczyk, passed away at Hospice Buffalo, in Cheektowaga, New York, at the age of 74.

John's courage with battling serious medical issues in recent years showed his true character. He also enjoyed playing golf with his father Jan and his son Justin, traveling with the family, Crossword Puzzles, and playing the penny slots at the Casino. He also collected Zippo Lighters and workout equipment. John also relished cheering on the Buffalo Bills and was the best Arm-Chair manager the Yankees ever had.

John leaves behind a loving family, which includes his caring wife, Sharon (nee Pilarz) Kulczyk.

He was a devoted father of Justin (Kelci) LaPorte and Sara (David) Goodwin and the proud grandfather of Kaitlyn LaPorte, Ethan LaPorte, Cooper Goodwin, and Rose Goodwin.

John was born on Tuesday, December 30, 1947, to the late Clara (nee Paul) Kulczyk and late Jan Kulczyk, in Buffalo, New York, and was a dear brother of Kathy Kulczyk and Robert (Robyn) Kulczyk, and he was also survived by an aunt, uncle, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held privately by the family.
