John Paul was wed to the late Lucille (nee Gallo) Stiglmeier for 48 years, the happiest years of his life.

He had two stepsons Vincent Aschieri and the late Michael Aschieri.

Loving grandfather to Tina (Charles) Riley, Vincent (April) Aschieri and John (Carolina) Aschieri. Dear great-grandfather to Madelyn, Juliana, Nicholas, Michael, Joseph, Emily, Selena, Lucille and Andrew.

John Paul and Lucille were adopted parents to Reverend Ramona Scarpace. He was a special friend to the late Mary Riley and her late husband Robert.

Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Katharine Drexel (135 North Ogden St., Buffalo NY 14206) on Saturday, June 13th, 2026 at 10 AM.
