A Corrections Officer at Wende Correctional Facility, in Alden, New York, Jonathon E. Lucas, passed away at the age of 43.

A corrections officer for over 12 years, Jonathon served at Five Points Correctional Facility, in Romulus, New York, Albion Correctional Facility, before making his way to his present position here at the Wende Correctional Facility, in Alden, New York.

Jonathon was an Automobile enthusiast, working on and driving his Vette and several other vehicles over the years. He was also a Computer WIZ, helping family members, friends and several of the Buffalo Bills players, with their computer problems. Also enjoying several sports, he was one of the best Armchair Quaterback's the Bills ever had on their team.

A devoted son of Patricia (nee Stachowiak) Lucas and Robert Lucas, Sr. and loving brother of Robert, Jr. (Lynn) Lucas, and Amanda Lucas.

He was also the fond uncle of Mabel Lucas and Madalyn Lucas, as well survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family is planning a private service at this time out of concern for the Coronavirus pandemic. However, the family looks forward to celebrating Jonathon's life with extended family members and all his friends at a later time.
