A former Night Fireman for the City of Buffalo Board of Education passed away at Sisters of Charity - St. Joseph Campus at the age of 47.

The beloved husband of Kim M. (Orlowski) Canazzi and devoted father of Joseph IV (Nicole Delamater) Canazzi, Justin Canazzi and the late Jessica Canazzi.

He was Poppy to Lorelei Canazzi and Anthony Canazzi and loving son of the late Georgette and Joseph Canazzi, Jr., dearest son-in-law of Jane and late Jack Orlowski and late Bruce Chittenden and grandson-in-law of Gammy Estelle and late Henry Marek.

He was also survived by his sister Marybeth (Marc Scholes Jr.) Canazzi, brothers-in-law Kevin (Amber) Orlowski, Gregory Chittenden and David (Kathryn) Chittenden and nephew of Marnie Near, Ann (Jim) Zollitsch, Lynn Biser and the late Isabelle (Patrick) Hewson. Joe was also the uncle of Jaime, Michael Aaron, Miya, Marc Jr. Scholes, Gage Chittenden, Nathaniel, Natalie and Logan Orlowski and cousin of Patrick (Sarah) Hewson, Jenna and Robert Biser, Jr. and Star Marra.

The family and friends will gather for a Celebration of Joe's Life on Tuesday evening (12/22/2015) from 5-7 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where a service will be held at 7 PM.
