A retired machinist at the General Motors Engine Plant, Joseph Chester Kubek, passed away at Greenfield Health & Rehabilitation Center, in Lancaster, New York at the age of 87. In his early years, Joe was a Pin Setter at the local Bowling Alley, then worked for Kiebler and FN Burt before working at the Ford Assembly Plant till it moved out of town, ending up at General Motors and working there for over 30 years.

He also enjoyed gardening and the local sporting events till going blind and then spent more time listening to the Sabres, Bills, and Baseball on the radio.

Joe was the loving son of the late Anna F. (nee Roman) and late Joseph Martin Kubek.

The devoted brother of Stanley R. (Judith A.) Kubek and Henry P. (Judith E.) Kubek. Fond uncle of Brian (Pamela) Kubek, Sharon (Gregory) Oryschak, David (Ellen) Kubek, and proud great uncle of Michael and Rachel Kubek, and also survived by many cousins.

The family will be present on Thursday, November 5th, 2020, from 4 -7 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William Street, near Harlem Rd.

Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Josaphat Parish, located at William Street & Peoria Avenue on Friday morning at 9 AM.
