June 1, 1924 – February 3, 2020
A retired assembler at Ethox Medical Equipment, in Buffalo, New York, the former Julia Czajka, passed away at Buffalo, Mercy Hospital, at the age of 95.
Julia, during her retirement, enjoyed spending time with all three generations of her grandchildren, but she still found time to meet with her friends and play cards and bingo at the Seneca-Babcock Community Center with the Seniors and also enjoyed reading and going to the slots. What will be missed most is her Buttermilk Coffee Cake and her famous Split Pea Soup.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Kwiatkowski and the late Leonard Gard.
A devoted mother of Helen (Don) Panikowski, Donna Buckley and the late Sue Howard and William Kwiatkowski.
Julia was also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The family will be present on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem).
Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at SS. Columba-Brigid Church, located at 75 Hickory at Eagle Street, on Thursday morning at 10 AM.
Burial will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Cheektowaga, NY.
