A resident of Tonawanda, New York, the former Kathleen Lawler, a Licensed Practical Nurse at Lifetime Health, in Amherst, New York, passed away peacefully at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital, in Virginia Beach, Virginia on Thursday, January 19, 2017.

Kathy was the devoted mother of Patrick (Emily) Burdzy, David (Katina) Burdzy, Amanda Burdzy, Bonnie Burdzy, and Elizabeth Burdzy and their father Christopher Burdzy.

A loving grandmother of Connor Burdzy and Sofia Burdzy and dearest daughter of Edward R. Sr. "Buddy" and the late Arlene (Zakrzewski) Lawler.

She was also the dearest sister of Timothy (Eileen) Lawler, Karen Lawler and Edward Lawler, Jr. and survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends invited to gather on Thursday morning (1/26/2017) from 10 to 11 AM for a visitation at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, located at 145 Goodell Street, Buffalo, New York, 14203.

A Funeral Service will take place at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 11 AM.

Burial will follow in St. Matthew's Cemetery, West Seneca, New York.

There will be no prior visitation.
