April 27, 1956 – October 23, 2020
A retired Maintenance Mechanic at NRG Energy, in Tonawanda, New York, Kenneth J. Hill, Jr. passed away at the age of 64. Ken was a Harley Davidson and Auto enthusiast whose lifetime ambition was to restore his Palladium Silver 1970 Pontiac GTO and ride his Dress Harley whenever and wherever he could. When he wasn't riding his Harley he was riding his John Deere and played "Mowing Man" mowing the grass late into the night, Why? because it had a headlight! He additionally enjoyed playing hockey in his younger years and also camping with family and friends. He was also known for savoring his Sweets, especially his Mom's Frosting.
He was the beloved husband to the love of his life, his wife Dorothy (nee Pratt) Hill.
The devoted father of Christianne (Brian) Gawel, Kenneth J. ( Amee) Hill III , Joshua Hill, and late Phillip Hill and cherished grandfather of McKenzie, Emma, Phillip, Gemma, and Gavin.
Kenneth was the dearest son of the late Shirley (nee Cannon) Hill and late Kenneth J. Hill, Sr.
A dearest brother of James Hill, Timothy Hill, David (Kelly Giuga Fiancée) Hill, Maureen Matthews, late Shawn (Linda) Hill, and Susan (Robert) Geary; and was also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will be present for visitation on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William Street (near Harlem.)
Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew's Church, located on Crocker & Reiman Sts., in Sloan, New York, on Tuesday at 10 AM.
Face coverings and social distancing will be required at all times during Kenneth's services. Current capacity restrictions may cause delayed entry. Thank you for your understanding.
