Obituary

An Update to Laurie's arrangements:

The family of Laurie A Richeal will be gathering on Friday evening, June 11, 2021, from 5-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William Street (near Harlem Road) where a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:30 PM. All are invited... Thank you for your prayers and concerns.

Laurie A. Richeal, a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, and friend to many, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at the age of 60.

A Chef and Baker by trade, Laurie, started out her working career at Dual-Temp making windows. She then began her foodservice career at Tops Markets working as a Baker, then managing the Food Service Department at the University of Buffalo, moving on to working at the Foodservice Division at Praxair Distribution, in Tonawanda, NY, and then to her present job at AVI Foodsystems, in the Larkin area of Buffalo.

She was a  graduate of St. Luke's Church Parochial School, in Buffalo and East Aurora High School - made the best Pierogi, and was famous for her Lard Cookies. Laurie also enjoyed socializing with family and friends and especially spending quality time with her grandchildren.

Laurie was married to the Love of her life and soulmate, her beloved husband, the late Ronald C Richeal, who predeceased her in October of 2011.

The devoted mother of Lauren (David) DuFrane and grandmother of Carter DuFrane and Ariele DuFrane.

She was the cherished daughter of the late Victoria and late Raymond Jarnot and loving sister of Raymond (Beverly) Jarnot, Lawrence (Sharon) Jarnot, Christopher (Maria) Jarnot, and Kenneth Jarnot.

She was also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will be gathering on Friday evening, June 11, 2021, from 5-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William Street (near Harlem Road) where a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:30 PM. All are invited...
