A Terminal Logistics Manager at A. Duie Pyle Inc. in Tonawanda, New York, Lawrence A. "Larry" Kowalski, passed away at Hospice Buffalo, in Cheektowaga, New York, peacefully, with his family nearby, at the age of 65.
Better known as the perfectionist, at work and a workaholic, by his fellow employees, Larry, was actually a very peaceful man, that loved to play with his grandchildren, watching CNN in order to be on top of today's breaking news for the U.S., world, and politics of Getzville, New York, where he called home. Larry, who was always with his phone, enjoyed being able to keep in contact with his family and friends and was the families sole representative of the John Denver Fan Club.
Larry was the beloved husband of Lucy C. (nee Dolgowski) Kowalski and devoted father of Lauren M. (Jason) Russell and Kristin M. (Brian) Minervini.
The loving Dziadzie and grandfather of Avery and soon to be Emily Minervini and Carter Russell.
He was the dearest son of Mildred A. and the late Henry M. Kowalski and brother of Mari Ann (William) Galus and Alan J. (Darlene) Kowalski and uncle of Jessica R. Kowalski.
Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Pius X Parish, located at 1700 North French Rd., in Getzville, New York 14068 on Friday morning, August 31, 2018, at 10 AM.
There will be no prior visitation. Burial will take place privately, at a later date.
