A former teacher in the Williamsville Central School District for over 32 years, Lawrence M. Szarachan, passed away at the age of 78.

Lawrence's love of teaching and nature followed him into his retirement, by teaching his friends about what he loved the most, the City of Buffalo, and all it had to offer. He was also a member of the Buffalo Zoo, a volunteer for many years at Tifft Nature Preserve as well as the Botanical Gardens.

Born on Tuesday, December 21, 1943, the son of the late Jean (Soltys) Szarachan and late Stanley Szarachan.

He was the companion of the late Leo Long and was also survived by cousins and many friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022, at Forest Lawn Cemetery, in Buffalo, New York at 1 PM.

All are welcome.
