Update: Leona's Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, June 1st at 10 AM at St. Stanislaus Church (123 Townsend Street). Face coverings and social distancing will be required at all times during services.

A retired Stenographer, with over 15 years of service, for the Adult Division of the City of Buffalo, Board of Education at City Hall, Leona M. Wozniak passed away at Buffalo General Hospital, in Buffalo, New York, at the age of 67. Leona also worked for Doodle Bugs Childcare, as a Child Day Care Aide for over 5 years.

In her spare time, Leona enjoyed singing with her Church Choir, at the former St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, in North Tonawanda, New York, which is now the St. Jude the Apostle Parish. She also loved the Rolling Stones, Jesus Christ Superstar, and doing string art, but her most significant love was being able to spend time with her granddaughter, Victoria. Oh, and her Christmas Cookies were the greatest too!

Leona was the beloved wife of late James Wozniak and devoted mother of David (Melissa) Wozniak and step-mother of Jennifer (Mark) Serinowski and Michele Wozniak;

The loving grandmother of Victoria Wozniak.

A cherished daughter of the late Mary (nee Pieprzny) Kruszka and the late Leon Kruszka.

She was the dearest sister of Nancy Smardz and James (Lynne) Kruszka and the sister-in-law of Ted Smardz.

The fond godmother of Amy (Gary Ptak) Smardz and dear aunt of Amy Herman and Jessica (Jeremy Bolster) Herman.

Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stanislaus Church (123 Townsend Street) Tuesday at 10 AM. Face coverings and social distancing will be required at all times during services.

Donations in Leona's memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
