Obituary

A beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Daughter, Sister-in-Law, Niece, Aunt, and Cousin, the former Loretta A. Wozniak passed away at the age of 86.

Loretta was very active in her Church and Community. A member and former office Holder in both the 14 Holy Helpers Church Parish Ladies Sodality, and Union Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She was also active in the Church Choir and was the publicity director for the events held at 14 Holy Helpers Church, as well as a member of 14 Holy Helpers, and Gardenville Home Bureau, all in West Seneca, New York.

Loretta led many successful fun day-trips to several places and events throughout the Western New York Area and she made the Best Goulash, Pierogies, Home Made Sausage and also enjoyed baking for her family and friends. You could never leave her home without sitting down to a home-cooked meal. She also enjoyed crafting especially with Pine-Cones and making several Pine-Cone Wreaths for all to take home and enjoy. She was also the self-appointed Family Historian, collecting news articles that concerned family members and then saving them to give the articles to them at a later date, to remember their achievements.

Loretta was the daughter of the late Stella (Jasinowski) Wozniak and the late William Wozniak.

She was married on May 8, 1954, to her soulmate and the love of her life, the late Stanley J. Pajak who predeceased her on 3/13/1995 just a few days before their 41st Wedding Anniversary.

The devoted mother of Pauline (Kevin) Balla and Stanley W."Butch" (Debra McCarthy) Pajak and loving grandmother of Christina Balla, Katrina (finacé, Mathew Brown) Balla and fond great-grandmother of Zoey Lynn and Mason James.

Loretta was the dearest sister-in-law of Theresa Sitarek and fond niece of Alfred Wozniak and Suzanne Wozniak.

She was also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family is planning a private service at this time out of concern for the Coronavirus pandemic. However, the family looks forward to celebrating Loretta's life with extended family members and all her friends at a later date.

Please share with the family any pictures you may have in the Photos section and your condolences on the Guestbook, here on this site.

Through the kindness of Fr. David Bellittiere and Loretta's 14 Holy Helpers Parish Family, they have provided us with the link below to a recording of Loretta Pajak's private Funeral Mass.
