IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lottie V.
Kuzan
January 29, 1929 – November 27, 2020
A Retired Crane Operator, with over 25 years of service to Westinghouse, in Cheektowaga, New York, Lottie V. Kuzan, passed away at Elderwood Hamburg Health Care Center, in Hamburg, New York, at the age of 91.
After retiring, Lottie also spent another 25 years volunteering for "Meals on Wheels." Besides her volunteer work, Lottie was the glue that kept her family unit solid by hosting several seasonal "Family Outings" at her home. She was the premier entertainer, always making sure to have all the relatives gather several times a year and to keep in contact with each other, forming strong bonds, so that they would always know the meaning of family.
She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting beautiful Sweaters and Blankets that she shared with family and friends, as well as her homemade ceramics. However, her most cherished possession, was the First Place Blue Ribbons that she won at the Erie County Fair, for her Chile Sauce, several years in a row.
Lottie was the beloved wife of late Edward W. Kuzan and devoted mother of Edward J. (Janice) Kuzan and Mary McConnell.
A loving grandmother of Noel Gallagher, Christian (Lori) Kuzan, Megan (Paul) Dehner, and Victoria (Jason) Zurek and fond great-grandmother of Benjamin and Haley Gallagher, Mabel and Rose Dehner, and Amanda (fiancé Mitchell Johnson) Murray.
She was the cherished daughter of the late Victoria (nee Zmuda) Jarnot and the late Jon Jarnot.
The dearest sister of the late Frank (late Stella) Jarnot, late Helen (late Joseph) Kosowski, late Bernice (late Henry) Kolasz, late Julius (late Leokadia) Jarnot, and the late Stella (late Stanley) Podraza. She was also survived by several fond nieces and nephews.
The family will be gathering for visitation on Tuesday afternoon from 3-7 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem).
Relatives and friends are also invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Louis Church (Main & Edwards Sts.) on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 9:30 AM.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials are preferred to the Disabled American Veterans.
Face coverings and social distancing will be required at all times during Mrs. Kuzan's services. Current capacity restrictions may cause delayed entry. The family appreciates your prayers and concerns for Lottie, during these trying times and would like to thank you for your support and understanding.
