Lucille was born on Saturday, May 12, 1934 to Angeline (nee Ruda) and Valentine "William" Zamiara in Buffalo, New York. Lou was a secretary at Bakos Agency in Cheektowaga, New York. Following Bakos, Lou worked at West Seneca School District and volunteered at the American Red Cross. Member of BAC for Women on French Road where she made everlasting friends and travel companions. You could always find Lou in the kitchen where she loved to bake and cook.
Lou was a Parishioner of St. Bernard Parish in Buffalo, NY.
Lou was the beloved wife of late Robert S. Manuszewski who predeceased her on December 19, 2024.
Devoted mother of Julie (Mark) Pietraszewski and David (Amy) Manuszewski.
Loving grandmother of Michael (Melissa) Pietraszewski, Kristen (Jordan) St. John, Paige Manuszewski and the late Timothy Pietraszewski. Fond great-grandmother of Camerin St. John, Jack St. John and Natalie Pietraszewski
Dearest sister of late Jerome Zamiara.
She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family will be present on Saturday, May 10th from 1-4 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St., near Harlem Road.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at Fourteen Holy Helpers Church, 1345 Indian Church Rd. (at Union) on Monday, May 12th at 10 AM. Please assemble at the Church.
Burial will take place at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Cheektowaga, New York at a later date.
