The former Lucille Mondie, a mother of Six and former homemaker, passed away peacefully at Garden Gate Health Care, in Cheektowaga, New York Saturday morning, on the 21 of January, 2017.

She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent VegaLaBoy and devoted mother of Alise (Patrick) Flanagan, Mary Lou VegaLaBoy, Anthony (Sonia) VegaLaBoy and Catherine VegaLaBoy, Christine (Thomas) Caple and the late Lucy (Paul) Kelley; step-mother of Socorro Vega Morales and Emelina Vega Romas.

Lucille was also survived by thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Family will be present on Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where a funeral service will be held at 7 PM.

Interment will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Buffalo, New York on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 10 AM.
