Marica was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother whose greatest joy in life was her family. As a homemaker, she lovingly dedicated her life to creating a warm and caring home and being there for the people she loved. Her family was the center of her world, and the love, guidance and memories she gave them will remain a treasured part of their lives forever.
Beloved wife of the late John Melnyk. Loving mother of Jeffrey (fiancée Lynn) Melnyk, Kevin (Julie) Melnyk and Gary (Hope) Melnyk. Cherished grandmother of Siobhan Melnyk, Mac Melnyk, Heather (John) Domres and Shannon Melnyk. Proud great-grandmother of Theo, Charlie and Everett. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Marica will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the importance she placed on family, and the special place she held in the hearts of those who knew her. Though she will be deeply missed, her love and the memories she created with her family will live on in each of them.
Family will be present Friday, October 9th from 3–7 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William Street Cheektowaga, NY 14206.
Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial that will take place on Saturday at a place and time to be announced. Please check back for updates.
Interment will follow at St. Matthew Cemetery in West Seneca, NY.
The family invites you to leave a message in her Guest Book or share a photo in her Online Photo Album. These memories, stories, and photographs will be treasured by her family and loved ones for years to come, serving as a beautiful reminder of the love she gave and the special place she will always hold in their hearts.
