Marcia Miecyjak (née Kosior) passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026, leaving behind a life marked by kindness and deep devotion to her loved ones. Born on December 18, 1945, in Buffalo, NY, Marcia’s journey was enriched by cherished relationships and a steadfast sense of family.

Marcia was the beloved wife of George Miecyjak, who stood by her side with love and companionship. She was the devoted daughter of Mary (nee Kuciel) and Joseph Kosior. Throughout her life, Marcia was deeply connected to her family, including her siblings Joseph Kosior and late Theresa (late Michael) Rozmus. The bonds she fostered with each of them were a testament to her gentle and nurturing spirit. Maria is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to assemble on Sunday, August 23rd at the Pietszak Funeral Home, 2400 William Street, from 1-2 PM, where a Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2 PM.

Her life’s story is one of enduring love and commitment—to her family, to her friends, and to the values she held dear. Marcia's unwavering support, wisdom, and kindness left a lasting mark on all who were fortunate to know her.
