IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Margaret Micky
Marren
August 11, 1930 – September 6, 2019
A Warm and Generous Lady, Margaret (nee Sargent) Marren, entered into rest at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, in Amherst, New York, at the age of 89.
Micky, also known as Nana, by family and friends, was truly loved and cherished by her whole family and many friends. She enjoyed exercise and especially her time with her grandchildren, taking them "over the hill" to Hills Department Store, helping them shop for this or that and also the time spent with all her girlfriends, at the old "Swan Lounge" on Seneca and Emslie Streets, in the City of Buffalo. She also enjoyed driving fast in her Camaro, and traveling with her family and friends to Cape Cod, the Thousand Islands, Cuba, Monterey Mexico, Beaumont and McAllen, Texas, the Bahamas, St. Thomas, and especially going to Toronto, Canada, for haircuts, LOL. She also never met a cup of coffee she didn't like. An avid skier herself, Micky was a former Machine Operator working at Moog, in the Ski Binding Divison, for several years.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Kathryn (nee Speidel) and Robert Sargent.
A devoted and loving mother of James (Elsa) Marren, Bridget Marren, Shannon (Jan) Kurzanski and the late Patrick (Kathy) Marren.
The cherished grandmother of Maya Marren, Tammy (Jay) Hyzy, Patrick (Molly) Marren and Sarah (Sean) Marren-Shaffer, Sean (Laura) Thiel, Jay (Shasha) Kurzanski and Jenna (Jeffrey) Masten and fond great-grandmother of Anna Hyzy, Jacob Hyzy, Jack Marren, Patrick Marren, Neoma Marren, Lila Marren-Shaffer, Rowan Marren-Shaffer, Fern Marren-Shaffer, Patrick Thiel, Bridget Thiel, and Evelyn Thiel.
Margaret was the dearest sister of the late Kay Martin, late Dorothy (late Gene) Dolan, Joan (late Tom) Shriver, Patricia (Jim) Mclellan, Robert Emmet (Ginny) Sargent, late Charles (late Gloria) Sargent and late Colin (Linda) Sargent.
