Suddenly on 8/14/2020, Margaret M. Musial, at the age of 70, left this earth to be with the Lord.
She was very active in the Western New York religious community, serving as a Minister of the St. Francis Fraternity and a leader in the Secular Franciscan for over 30 years. A loving and dedicated activist for Peace & Justice, Marge was the area liaison for the Holy Name Province, and also served as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector at the SS. Columba-Brigid Church, as well as being an active participant in the Church Life and the mergers at the former, St. Patrick's Church, Sts. Rita and Patrick's Church, and St. Clare's Parish.
After receiving her Master's Degree in Social Law, Marge worked most of her life, until her retirement, as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, for the New York Vocational Rehabilitation Services.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Phyllis (nee Komorowski) Musial and late Alphonse F. Musial.
The devoted sister of Jim (Sue) Musial, Mary Lou (Ron) Radziwon and Mike (late Diane) Musial and loving aunt of Kristin (Darryl) Smith, Sara (Luke) Weaver, Laura (Bernard) Blocho, Julianne (Ethan) Hansen, Scott (Kelly Wendt) Musial and Allison Musial, and proud great-aunt of Lainie Smith, Evan Smith, Aidan Weaver, Cora Weaver, Benny Blocho and Eleanor Blocho. She was also survived by several cousins and many friends.
The family and friends will be gathering on Friday from 3 - 7 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem).
Relatives and friends are also invited to gather at SS. Columba-Brigid Church (75 Hickory at Eagle St, 14204) on Saturday morning from 9 to 10 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 AM.
Burial at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, will be held privately, at a later time.
