Maria Federczyk (Terech), 79 of Cheektowaga entered into rest surrounded by her loving family on January 31st. Maria was deeply loved by her husband of fifty three years, Basil.

Maria was born on January 1, 1947 in a German Work Camp in Hershfield to Dmytro and Ludmyla Terech. She and her parents immigrated to Buffalo in 1950 through Ellis Island. Maria worked at Sorrento Foods as an executive assistant.

Maria is survived by her loving husband, Basil and her two sons, Wasyl (Julie) and Paul (Tracylee) along with grandchildren Alex, Megan and Patrick and Abby and Karly along with great-grandboys, Gabriel and Bennett. Maria had one brother, Wasyl (Luba) Terech along with nephew Nick and niece Stephanie. She was godmother to Elaine Slobodian and Nick Terech.

Family and friends may call at the Pietszak Funeral Home, 2400 William Street, Cheektowaga, NY 14206 Friday, February 6th from 4-8 PM . Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 7th at 10 AM at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church 3275 Elmwood Avenue, Tonawanda, NY 14217 . Burial following at St. Matthew Cemetery, 180 French Road, West Seneca, NY 14224.
