Maria was a retiree from the Buffalo Public Schools where she worked as a Spanish Teacher for over 25 years.  Maria was the Secretary for Ukrainian National Women's League of America {UNWLA, Inc.} Branch 49, in Buffalo, NY.

Dearest daughter of late Alexandra (nee Tymoczuk) and the late John Grega.

Dearest sister of Gloria Long, Peter (Marlene) Grega, Christine (Augustus) Pignataro and Joseph (Sandee) Grega.

Maria is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins in USA, Ukraine and Poland.

Family will be present on Friday from 4-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William Street (near Harlem) where Panachyda Service will be held at 7:30 PM and on Saturday morning at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Liturgy at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church at 9:30 AM.

Burial will take place at St. Matthew Cemetery In West Seneca, NY.
