Marian was born on Tuesday, August 14, 1934 to the late Bronsfawa (nee Ceglarek) and late Walenty (late Anna) Kochel in Poland.  He was a veteran of the US Coast Guard and a Ford Motor Co retiree.

Marian was the beloved husband of Jadwiga (nee Szymczyk).

Devoted father of Peter Kochel, James Kochel, Michael Kochel and Stanley Kochel and their families.

Loving grandfather of Finley Kochel.

Dearest brother of Helene (Christopher) Kochel, Sophia (Henry) Sikora, Emily (David) Heckler, late Michalene (late Joseph) Banaskiewicz, late Josephine (late Stanley) Szarzanowicz, late Christine (Sigmund) Mincel, and late John (late Sylvia) Kochel.

He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family will be present on Thursday, July 25th from 11 AM-1 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where services will be held at 1 PM and at Resurrection Church at 1:30 PM.

Interment will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Cheektowaga, New York.
