Marie’s life was marked by devotion to her family and the unwavering kindness she extended to everyone she encountered. She shared her life with her devoted husband, Eugene Amplement, Jr., whose steadfast partnership brought her great joy and comfort throughout the years. Marie's love and guidance were constants for her children, Jennifer (Matthew) Cole and Jeffery (Kim) Amplement. As a grandmother, she found immense pride and delight in her granddaughters, Mackenzie Amplement and Brianna Amplement, cherishing every moment spent with them.

The deep bonds Marie shared with her siblings were a source of strength and joy in her life. She is survived by her loving siblings William (Tammy) Patterson, Sandra (Edward) Sopko, Bruce (Karen) Patterson and Patricia (Todd Potter) Patterson. Marie is a dear sister-in-law of Suzanne (Chris) Isbrandt, and Ronald Amplement and is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
