October 4, 1935 – April 13, 2018
A retired waitress at Burst's Tavern and Grove, in Cheektowaga New York, where she spent many years with the Burst Family providing Libations, Nourishment and Merriment, to many a guest, Mary Louise Vedella, passed away peacefully, at Elderwood Health Care Center at Cheektowaga, at the age of 82. In her early years, she also worked at Gus's Hot Dogs, formerly located downtown on Main Street, in Buffalo, New York for 20 years.
The former Mary Louise Campbell, she was the daughter of the late Margaret and late James Campbell, and was predeceased by her beloved husband, in January of 2008, the late Pasquale "Pat" Vedella, himself a former pillar and bartender at the Big Timers Club, in the Lovejoy area of Buffalo, New York.
Mary was the devoted sister of Ruth (late William) Randall, Carol Long, Rev. Msgr James F. Campbell, late Jack Slagel, the late Susie (late Richard) Fay, late Jerry (Evelyn) Campbell, late Eddie Campbell, late Nancy (late Edward) Murray, and the late Jean Marie (late Parker) Smith.
She was also the cherished Aunt of Ann Marie Lo and loving friend of Michele (Greg Wolinski) Mutton and Michael Murray.
Services were held privately.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials in Mrs. Vedella name are preferred to the Charity of your choice!
