Matthew worked in construction for most of his life at various jobs throughout Erie County.  He was born on November 8, 1962 in Buffalo, NY.

Reunited with his parents Geraldine (nee Neubauer) and William Evens.

Father of Michael (fiancée Natalee Cirino) Evens Sr. and Nicholas (Lauren Kusmierz) Evens Sr.

Grandfather of Michael Jr., Ariella, Nicholas and Milania.

Dearest brother of Chris Brown-Mortimer, Michael Evens, Patrick (Cathy) Evens, and Timothy (Kathy) Evens.

Matthew is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
