Obituary
The former Nancy A. Byczynski, peacefully passed away, on Friday, May 9, 2014, at Hospice Buffalo, after a long battle with cancer. She was 65 and resided in Cheektowaga, NY.
A Loving mother, she is survived by her children David (Sandy) Jakubowski, Ann Marie Pieszala, and Michael (Phoebe) Jakubowski.
Devoted grandmother of Matthew, April, Megan (Mike), Emily, Ethan and Mason.
The dearest sister of Marlene (Kenneth) Gabriel and James (Rose) Byczynski.
Nancy was also survived by her Aunt Theresa Jendrasik and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
It was our Mother's wishes not to have a viewing, but please join us in a Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at St. Josaphat's Parish, located on the corner of William and Peoria, in Cheektowaga, Wednesday, May 14 at 9:30 am.
Our Mother worked at Hospice Buffalo for 16 years and would like any donations to be made to the Hospice Foundation, 225 Como Park Boulevard, Cheekowaga, NY 14227.
The family would also like to thank Hospice for the caring and kindness they have shown the family during this time.
He only takes the Best
God saw that she was getting tired,
A cure was not to be.
And whispered, "Come with me."
With tearful eyes, we watched her suffer,
And saw her fade away.
We could not make her stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands to rest.
He only takes "The Best!"
