Orest P. Ciolko, a Professional Engineer at AECOM, of Buffalo New York, passed away at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, in Amherst, New York, at the age of 59.
Formerly a Professional Engineer at Wendel Companies, for over 26 years, Orest also enjoyed being a "Soccer Dad" and attended his daughters games religiously. His love of biking led him to join the Niagara Frontier Bike Club (NFBC) or more endearingly know as the "No Friends Bike Club."
Growing up and belonging to PLAST or the National Scout Organization of Ukraine, strengthened his love of the outdoors and led him and his family, to several outdoor events, including Hiking, Camping, Kayaking and his greatest love Skiing.
Orest was survived by his wife Paula (nee Cetin) Ciolko and their daughters Alexandra Ciolko and Andrea Ciolko.
He was the loving son of the late Luba (nee Zajac) and late Roman Ciolko and dearest brother of Adrian (Chris) Ciolko and Lidia (Marko) Pilecky and brother in law of Dr. Derrick (Dr. Ann Marie) Cetin, DO and Stacey Cetin.
Uncle of Adrian (Brittany Ringmeier), Bohdana, Denys, Alexander, Derrick, Jr. and Kevin and great-uncle of Milya and Grace and best fur Dad to "Maddie."
Family will be present on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where a Panachyda Service will be held on Wednesday evening at 7 PM and on Thursday morning at 11:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, located at Fillmore and Oneida Street, Buffalo, NY 14206, at 12 Noon.
Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cheektowaga, New York
