Obituary

Patricia L. Cobo , of Springville, died Monday, February 22, 2021, at her home, at the age of 71. She was born February 26, 1949, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and was always proud to be a "Jersey Girl."
She was the daughter of the late Bertha (nee Nye) Krieck and the late Martin Krieck. She was survived and married to her soul mate and the love of her life, Dennis R. Cobo, on June 9th, 1973 at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, in Dunellen, New Jersey.
She presently was a member of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, in Springville, New York. In her younger years, Patricia was the Librarian at St. Aloysius School as well as an aide at the Early Bird Child Care Centers, Inc. She was also the former Chairlady of the Sunshine Committee, Chinese Auctions, and Secretary of the Springville Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.
She enjoyed traveling to New Jersey to see her family and friends and visiting Seaside Heights and walking the boardwalk and visiting all the Lighthouses along the way. Besides her love of camping at Sprague Brook County Park, in Glenwood, NY with her family, Patricia was a devout fan of Elvis and enjoyed several outings to see Terry Buchwald.
Patricia was the devoted mother of Dennis "DJ" (Stacy) Cobo, Jr., Sarah (John) Meyers, and Brian (Carol) Cobo. A loving grandmother of Meghan, Caleb, Elizabeth, Emily, Joshua, Samual (Asia) Meyers, Johanna (Keon) Glenn, Nathaniel Meyers, and Katelyn (John) Gorham , and great-grandmother of Kyonna, Keon, JT, and Gabriel.
The sister of Ann (Paul) Carron, Marty (Claire) Krieck, and late Barbara (Peter) Demchak;
The family will be present to receive friends on Friday, February 26, 2021, from 4-7 PM at the SMITH - WEISMANTEL FUNERAL HOME, 271 East Main St., Springville, NY.
Friends are invited to join the family at a Mass of Christian Burial, that will be celebrated at St Aloysius Church, Springville, New York on Saturday, February 27, 2021, at 10:30 AM. Please assemble at the church.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to the Springville Volunteer Fire Department.

Face coverings and social distancing will be required at all times during Patrica's services. Current capacity restrictions may cause delayed entry.
