Obituary
The former Patricia A. Benbenek, a retired Realtor, with over 15 years in the Home Sales field in Michigan City, Indiana, passed away at Buffalo Mercy Hospital at the age of 84. A born and raised Buffalonian, she relocated with her family, after her husband's job at Bethlehem Steel, moved them to Michigan City, Indiana. They lived there for several years till they returned to the area and settled in the Chautauqua region, in Lakewood, New York. It was there, in her retirement years, that she was able to enjoy, her Gin & Tonic, fishing for Walleye, going to the Casino, but most importantly being able to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and watch them soar.
Patricia was the dearest daughter of the late Helen(nee Olearczyk) Benbenek and the late Frank E. Benbenek, Sr.
She was the beloved soulmate, love of his life and wife of 63 years, to Daniel E. Zukowski.
The devoted mother of Bunny (Mark) O'Brien, Michael (Kim) Zukowski, Kim (David) Luchene and Danielle (Rob) Zukowski-Culver.
Patricia was the proud and loving grandmother of Derek (Carrie) O'Brien, Dr. Shannon (James) Poupalos, Jessica (Chris Bruet) O'Brien, TJ Luchene, Brittany (Brian) Fuller, Dr. Andrew (Katie) Taschler, Hayley Zukowski, Ariana Zukowski and very proud of all their accomplishments.
The fond great-grandmother of Connor O'Brien, Jackson O'Brien, Nicholas Poupalos, Isabella Poupalos, Jaxon Fuller, Ryker Fuller and also the "one" on the way.
She was the dear sister of Rita (late Richard) Szpara, Bernadette (late Joseph) Sacilowski, Sister Mary Jacqueline, CSSF and late Frank (Irene) Benbenek and late John "Buddy" Benbenek and was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
