Services will be held privately at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, in Hammondsport, New York, at the convenience of the family.

The following was.....Excerpted from USNA Class of 1955 "Lucky Bag" yearbook.

"Corning, New York, claims this sand blower who bounced into Navy from Cornell University where he had undertaken electrical engineering for two years. This preparation plus his brilliant mind eased Paul through the four-year struggle with a minimum of study. His time was occupied with telling people of the Corning Glass Works, battalion football and company sports, and writing letters (most of which were addressed to a certain Miss in Corning).  Paul did find one obstacle inside the walls which cost him a few hours of his time in the dreaded ice water of the Natatorium."

Condolences may be sent to Carolyn, his wife of 64 years (in Assisted Living in West Seneca), and their five children via daughter Anne Mackiewicz at mackfam50@aol.com . They may also be posted in the guestbook on this website.
