Obituary

Paul D. Kurdziel Sr., a dedicated factory worker at Emed in Williamsville, New York, passed away on March 23, 2026. Born on Christmas Day in 1963 in Buffalo, NY to Delphine and Leonard Kurdziel Sr.

Paul’s career at Emed was characterized by diligence and pride in his work. His contributions to the factory and the community around Williamsville reflected his strong work ethic and reliability. Those who worked alongside him remember a man who took his responsibilities seriously and who was always willing to lend a helping hand.

He was the beloved husband of Joann (nee Coccia), with whom he shared many years of companionship and love. Together, they built a family rich in warmth and mutual support. Paul was a devoted father to John Kurdziel, Paul (Felicia) Kurdziel Jr., Philip Kurdziel, and Nicole (Nick) Paladino.

Paul's legacy extends to the next generation through his loving grandchildren, Elijah and Cassandra, who brought great joy to his life. His family gatherings were filled with laughter and fond memories, many of which will continue to inspire all who knew him.

He was a dearest brother to the late Catherine (Anthony) Bonitati, the late Ann (Robert) Atkinson , and the late Leonard Kurdziel, Jr. Their memories live on through Paul’s stories and the bonds he cherished deeply. Paul was also a fond brother-in-law to Jean Marie Dickey (married to Bob) and Jimmy Coccia, both of whom remained close throughout his life.

Paul’s extended family included many nieces, nephews, and cousins, who all hold him in their hearts with affection and respect.

Services will be held privately.

He will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. We invite you to honor his memory by sharing a picture in our online Photo Album or a favorite memory in our Guestbook below. Through these remembrances, his enduring spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us all.
