Dr. Pedro Joven was a proud graduate of the University of the Philippines, Class of 1962, Dr. Pedro Joven dedicated his life to medicine and caring for others. His career began at Albany Medical Center and continued in Buffalo at E.J. Meyer Memorial Hospital, where he worked in the chest clinic. He later established a private internal medicine practice in Cheektowaga, faithfully serving his patients for over 40 years.
Beloved husband of Luba (nee Dranka), late Ann Richardson and Maria Boncore.
Devoted father of Leilani Pelletier, Jose (Rose Cordova) Joven and Kim Joven-King; devoted step-father of Tanya (Cory) Baumgart.
Loving Lolo of Joey King and Nicholas Baumgart.
Dearest brother of late Nonang (John) Timbs and late Binggay (late Noli) Faustino.
Fond brother-in-law of Peter (Sydney) Dranka, Olga (Peter) Pucak, and Nina (late Joseph) Palmeri.
Dr Pedro is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family will be present Tuesday, August 5th from 3-7 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. Cheektowaga, NY 14206. Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church (308 Fillmore Avenue) Wednesday, August 6th at 10 AM.
