IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Raymond G
Klein, Sr
December 9, 1938 – January 29, 2019
A Veteran of the US Army, Raymond G. Klein, Sr. passed away at Mercy Hospital, in Buffalo, New York at the age of 80. In 1964, after returning from his tour in the Army Raymond worked for several years for Regal Distributors, in Buffalo, NY delivering Carlings Beer and then found himself working for over two decades as a Crane Operator at Sen-Wel Industries, in Buffalo, New York, till stopping work there due to a disability.
After his retirement, as in life, he kept busy following his many passions, Golfing, Biking, Motorcycles, Woodworking, Flower Gardening in the yard, and outpouring his greatest enthusiasm into his work as an artist and his love of being able to help his neighbors being known as a "Master Mr. Fix-it" of sorts. He knew a lot about everything!
Since the time his children were attending JFK School in Cheektowaga, Raymond, then and now, still loves his JFK "Bears" Football who he still followed religiously. However, none of that can compete with the twinkle of his eye - his only grandson, Ethan.
Ray was also survived by his other greatest Love, the girl he called his best friend, Maryann (nee Noworyta) Klein, his wife of 51 years.
He was the devoted father of Raymond (Melissa) Klein, Jr. and Renee Klein-Costa and a loving grandfather of Ethan Costa.
The dearest son of the late Gertrude and late Henry Klein and dear brother of Ann (late Leonard) Slawaticki , Richard Klein, Gertrude (Fred) Esis , and the late Henry (Carol) Klein, late Robert (late Laurie) Klein and late Charles Klein. He was also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will be present for visitation on Friday, February 8th, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem).
